First, I want to wish you all an incredibly happy new year. I hope that you all have a great 2024 and that we can get past the chaotic 2023. I have a couple of things that I want to tell you all about and many announcements. So, I hope you are ready!
Let us talk about creation of all things content and what is going to happen going forward. I felt like I owed you an apology about being M.I.A. for a little while. Things behind the scenes were going on and I had to pivot what I was doing to ensure that many things do not add to my stress levels. However, I think it can now finally become time to get serious about what I am doing and how I am going to handle it.
The current plan is to double and triple down on video creation. I have many plans on how to get this done and I am working on a plan to ensure that this does not fall to the waste side. The longer form of content is the content I struggle with the most, only because of the time commitment that is needed to create videos. Trying to juggle a life, two jobs and game development has been a real hassle over the last couple of years. However, I have fixed some of the other time commitments and now it feels like this is the perfect time to move forward into making this a reality.
Now that we have gotten past what the holdup was it is time to talk about the plan. Let us start with long form content. I have been making strides in setting aside time to ensure that I can create as much content as possible for me to schedule the podcast and videos. I am also thinking about when available I want to do one thing that I wanted to do from the beginning. I would like to livestream the podcast and run through topics with you the viewers. This way I will be able to make these into more community lead episodes. Especially since you all make this entire process so much fun!
As for the short form, I will be returning with brand latest content, but I also will be bringing shorts from the long form videos. The main thing I want to start doing is to get everything streamlined and make it easier for me to stay on top of creating content. Short form videos will be posted on TikTok, and YouTube for right now. These are the two platforms that I will be focusing most of my time on for now.
This very website will be getting an overhaul in the next coming weeks. As of now I will start bringing all podcast and video content to the website. I have wanted to do this for some time but have not really had a chance to start the process. This will be the first step of the biggest step into making this site the number one resource for everything I am creating. This way you do not have to worry about where everything will be or if in the future any company has mistakenly taken me off a platform you can head to the website and get what you are looking for.
The biggest piece of the puzzle is making sure that the website is the biggest focus for the future. This way you will always have a hub for everything we are doing just like other game studios. Just like others this website will start to become improved later down the road. So, I will see you very soon!
