Sony newest video on their youtube channel showcases 8 PS2 Games on Ps4. All the titles are upscaled to 1080p with full trophy support.

The titles will run you about 10 – 15 bucks. If you’re curious about what games are on the list, here they are:

  • Dark Cloud
  • Grand Theft Auto III
  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
  • Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
  • Rogue Galaxy
  • The Mark of Kri
  • Twisted Metal: Black
  • War of the Monsters

The best part is that all titles will be available starting tomorrow! Sony also showed Parappa the Rapper 2 in the trailer but its still being tested on. Hopefully we will see it in the next couple months.

Opinions:

I am truly excited but disappointed about this news that Sony has just announced. I feel that this was just a quick hat trick to one up the Xbox backward capability hype train. Which is a good thing for the fans, and gamers alike. However, I disappointed by the fact that Sony is looking to recharge us for the games that we brought back in the day. Plus Sony should have made it backward capable with the PS3. Since they aren’t releasing PS4 games anytime soon.
